27 февраля в Лос-Анжелесе прошла церемония вручения кинопремий «Оскар-2017».

В основных номинациях победителями стали: лучшая актриса — Эмма Стоун (фильм «Ла-ла-ленд»), лучший актер — Кейси Аффлек («Манчестер у моря»), лучшая актриса второго плана -Виола Дэвис («Ограды»), лучший актер второго плана — Махершала Али («Лунный свет»).

Лучшим фильмом года стал «Лунный свет», который затрагивает тему чернокожих геев из бедного района Майами. Однако при вручении «Оскара» создателям этого фильма произошел казус — сначала победителем в номинации «лучший фильм года» был объявлен «Ла-ла-ленд». Однако вскоре оказалось, что объявлявший победителя актер Уоррен Битти взял на сцену не тот конверт. Спустя несколько минут, когда создатели «Ла-ла-ленд» уже произнесли речь на сцене, ошибка выяснилась, после чего статуэтка была передана настоящим победителям, а ведущий церемонии Джимми Киммел извинился перед зрителями.

Помимо победителей на сцене появлялись самые известные звезды Голливуда, среди которых Мэтт Дэймон, Бен Аффлек, Леонардо Ди Каприо, Мэрил Стрип, Дженнифер Энистон, Скарлетт Йоханссон и другие.

Во время церемонии Джимми Киммел много шутил относительно президента США Дональда Трампа. В частности, представляя Мэрил Стрип, он назвал ее «переоцененной актрисой» и попросил зрителей «незаслуженно поаплодировать ей». Ранее Трамп в ответ на критику со стороны актрисы заявил, что Стрип является переоцененной актрисой. Кроме того, Киммел в прямом эфире написал твит Трампу «Ты уже проснулся?», который за короткое время набрал сотни тысяч лайков и ретвитов.

«Церемония продолжается больше двух часов, а Дональд Трамп еще не написал о нас… Я о нем волнуюсь», — пошутил комик перед написанием твита.
